Ryan has been tinkering with, and taking computers apart since he was 10 years old. He is almost completely self-taught in everything he knows about computers, graphics design, and website design. He is the founder of Natural Flow Design, starting website design for clients in 2005, establishing a business image and then growing a client base. All of this occurred in the same year he graduated from Halifax West High School, and started attending Saint Mary’s University to continue his education.
Ryan is also a very active member in my community, and makes time out of his busy schedule to volunteer with various non-profit organizations. He is the current treasurer, and webmaster of the Mainland North Committee on Addictions Awareness, a member of the Chebucto West Community Health Board and he is also a volunteer with the Canadian Hemophilia Society.

Steve, originally from Cape Breton, started working with computers at the age of 12 on an old 286. With this 286 he learned bare bones computer programming skills mostly using a programming language called Basic. He started creating websites while in high school which helped develop his skills in web-based programming. After high school he attended NSCC for two years of web development, then Dalhousie University in computer science, and then back to NSCC. Although he has a lot of academic experience under his belt, he is mostly self-taught in various programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP—graduating with 50 percent of his credits being challenged for.
In his free time he enjoys working out, playing guitar, playing video games, and programming his own personal projects.
Naomi is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She started working in the arts business when she was 15 years old as an assistant fine arts teacher. She had been working in various fine arts mediums from a very young age, but mostly focused in drawing and watercolours. Realizing she would not make a living at painting she decided to take a visual communications arts course and then went to school for computer graphics design. She then started creating print media as a freelance graphic artist while in PEI and continues to do page layout work here in Nova Scotia. This helped develop her skills in web-based layout design for introductory and information pages. She feels most comfortable doing designs that have beautiful typography and striking layout with various of kinds of elements.
In her free time she enjoys playing computer games, as well as working in watercolours and drawing in her sketchbook. When she gets a chance she likes to go out and do photography—putting to good use her education from college.
Fresh out of University, with a Bachelor of Design from NSCAD, Arthur has recently joined the Natural Flow Design team. He brings with him a strong design sense and great understanding about the finer points of design. Growing up, he was always interested in the arts and so it seemed a natural progression to choose a career in graphic design, where he would be able to see his work published.
Arthur enjoys reading up on the latest technology out there and in his free time can either be found in the gym or enjoying time with friends.
